How Do We Learn To Perform At This Level? |

You don't have to be a great singer, just be willing to take the voice you have and work toward making it a great part of any chord. You don't have to be able to read music. We will teach you your part using learning CDs, sectional rehearsals, and individual coaching to make you a confident singer with the chorus. Many of our members are surprised how much they learn about music as they become better singers! You may even want to sing in a quartet as your skills develop. Once you're ready you'll audition to be a member of the performing chorus. We attend schools that the Society provides and receive coaching as a chorus in Salisbury MD at Salisbury State. These schools are of such quality that they actually earn College credit. The Music Team also brings in the best from coaches from around the Society and the Barbershop Community to develop our singing and entertainer skills right here at home. Coaches for the international champion Vocal Majority Chorus in Dallas and the second place Northern Lights Chorus in Toronto like Cindy Hansen and the International Medalist Baritone from BSQ, Rick Taylor come here to coach us too! We are committed to making our members the best entertainers they can possibly be! Our requirements to qualify for all of our performances and contests helps us to give our audiences the best music they can find anywhere!
